Whenever music is performed or recorded, copyright is involved. The law requires that permission must be obtained in advance from the copyright holder or a licence obtained from the appropriate licensing bodies. This applies to the filming of music played at Weddings and Receptions either by a professional company or anyone else for that matter. Take One Video will cover all copyright fees as part of our wedding video packages and will supply copy licences for your records if you require. Please note that copyright for your wedding DVD or video will remain with Take One Video, and not you the client. If you require further copies you can order these from us.
We specialise in filming weddings around Wiltshire and the surrounding counties offering a friendly and professional service that has made us a leading name locally for our quality, style and presentation. We film in a documentary style, capturing all the events of the day in a natural manner, and where possible will film from a distance by blending in with your guests to be totally unobtrusive. We do not stage shots, so you can enjoy your special day without interruption.
Modern day weddings require a huge amount of planning and organisation, and here at Take One Video we endeavour to make life easy and stress free for you. We will meet with you beforehand as required to plan the filming of your special day. As we are one of the few wedding companies that spends the whole day at the wedding we can usually give you advise and tips for many other aspects of your day too!
We have built up a good working relationship with local clergy and venues over the years allowing us to film regularly from prominent positions. If we have not worked in a church or hotel before we will visit/contact them in advance of the wedding to arrange suitable filming positions and to discuss any specific requirements.
If you are planning to marry in a church you may need to pay the church an additional fee to allow the video recording of your service. You should contact the clergy for clarification.
